Full-Day Tour: Braga and Guimarães
On this tour, we will explore the historic city of Braga, one of the oldest and most important religious cities in the world, famous for its impressive sanctuaries. The visit includes the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte, with its iconic staircase symbolizing the sacred path. Next, we head to the center of Braga for a guided walking tour, passing by emblematic landmarks such as the old Archiepiscopal Palace, the Arch of Porta Nova, the Santa Bárbara Garden, the Castles Fountain, and other points of interest, as well as a visit to the Sé Cathedral, the oldest in the country.
After some free time, during which you can enjoy a delicious lunch (optional), we will continue to Guimarães, considered the birthplace of Portugal. There, we will explore its remarkable historic center, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and visit the Guimarães Castle before returning to Porto.

We met the Douro Valley with the kind and caring Cátia. We made the trip to Pinhão, with a visit to two excellent wineries. It is highly recommended to include the one hour river boat ride, which is optional. The view is breathtaking.
