Full Day Tour by Van: Tour to the Douro Valley, World Heritage by UNESCO, with lunch, visit to two local Port Wine/Wine producers (Wineries) with tastings and 1-Hour Boat Cruise in Pinhão
This full-day tour is an authentic journey through one of the most beautiful landscapes in Northern Portugal, offering direct contact with one of the country’s oldest traditions: wine production.
The Douro stands out not only for its stunning scenery and famous terraced vineyards, but also for its winemaking heritage that defines the region. Recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Douro is a must-visit destination for anyone visiting the city of Porto.
On this tour, we visit two wine estates producing Port Wine and Douro DOC wines, enjoying a genuine insight into the winemaking process, with visits to the vineyards and wine cellar, followed by tastings at the end. The tour also includes stops to photograph iconic landscapes, a traditional Portuguese lunch, and a cruise aboard a typical “Rabelo” boat, offering breathtaking views.

- Local Guide;
- Transportation by minibus with a meeting point near São Bento Station (if you choose the option without pick-up)
- Transportation by van with pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation (if you choose the option with pick-up)
- Lunch with traditional food in Pinhão (meat or fish – please inform us if you are vegetarian!);
- Entrance to the wine estates with tastings;
- Boat trip in Pinhão (1 Hour) before lunch

We met the Douro Valley with the kind and caring Cátia. We made the trip to Pinhão, with a visit to two excellent wineries. It is highly recommended to include the one hour river boat ride, which is optional. The view is breathtaking.
The Other Side company is excellent. The tour we did through the Douro and wineries was wonderful. The guide who took us was Thiago, very very good. I recommend the tour of the company and the guide.
